About The Event
What is a Charity Clay Shoot?

Sporting clays courses use clay discs targets launched to introduce the illusion of speed or distance in the eye of the competitor, moving at speeds or in the ways of game birds. We have breakfast, games, raffles, lunch, and prizes.

All proceeds of the April 14, 2022 Charity Clay Shoot fund the development of financial readiness programs that help combat financial insecurity amongst our service members and their families.

How Does it Work?

To participate in a round of sporting clays, each squad of four will compete at each station in order (individuals will be grouped into squads).  Targets may be thrown from literally any angle or distance to simulate birds in flight and gives the participant the experience of actual hunting conditions.

Breakfast, lunch, safety briefing, ear and eye protection, 100 shotshells/participant, 100 sporting clays/participant, one golf cart/squad, and access to pro shop.

Available for Rental

There are a limited number of shotguns available from the pro shop on a first-come basis.

Shotgun Start

After registration, breakfast, and a safety talk, we will have a REAL “shotgun start”.  You’ll test your accuracy with 100 clay discs moving targets across 12 stations (and we’ll keep score for prizes).

About FCEF

First Command Educational Foundation (FCEF) was founded in 1983. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity, we help people achieve financial freedom through objective financial education, information, tools, and scholarships.

Our primary focus is America’s active and veteran service members, civilian federal employees, and their families. Our services also extend to organizations who share the values and aspirations of our core constituents.

FCEF provides financial readiness education at little or no cost across the nation. Military units, community and professional organizations, women’s causes, youth groups, high school students, economically at-risk populations, and other groups are among those benefiting from FCEF’s proven financial readiness curriculum.

FCEF’s scholarships broaden college and trade school scholarship opportunities for men and women across the country regardless of heritage or financial circumstances.
